From USA Today bestselling author Stacey Wiedower comes a story about the downside of fame and the upside of love...

Eight years after her fiancé’s betrayal rips her world apart, Amelia Wright is at the pinnacle of career success. Using heartbreak as her muse, she’s authored Shattered, a best-selling dystopian series that’s headed for the big screen. Though she writes under a pen name, she’s secretly scared Noah Bradley, her ex-fiancé, will recognize himself in her work, and, worse yet, realize she's never moved on.

But in a world of Instagram and iPhones, Amelia quickly learns it isn’t easy to hide in plain sight—especially after a paparazzo steals a shot of Amelia in a steamy encounter with the star of her upcoming movie. At the height of the tabloid frenzy, Amelia uncovers a secret about Noah’s betrayal and finds herself faced with a choice. Will she move forward with her new life of Louboutins, limos, and bullying paparazzi, or succumb to the pull of a past she thought she’d finally written off?

Warning!! Spoilers!!
I read this book within a two day span because I wanted so badly for the two main characters to get back together. I was a little taken back by the fact that they spent 8 years not moving on from each other and pining for one another but that was the real plot driver for this book so I went with it. After all, if an author makes me sit through all this build up of emotions between two main characters that spend 80% of the book inside thier own head thinking about the other, then the reunion and subsequent relationship will be amazing. Right? Wrong! The main reason that I failed to give the book a better rating is that the ending was so anticlimactic that I left the last page angry and wanting my two days back. The authors note said that she spent late nights writing this book and sometimes had a toddler on her lap as she wrote and I am inclined to believe her. At least for the last chapter anyway. I can only imagine that a toddler pressed delete just before she saved the "real" last chapter that would give me any satisfaction after reading an entire book that the two main characters only spent 2 pages together outside of flashbacks. I was so frustrated with the ending that I had to write a review that expressed my complete disappointment. If you are looking for a good love story, this is not it. There was only 2 pages of almost love and it was mostly descriptions of tears. The last chapter made me hate this book. I was ok with everything before that because I thought that I would see this decades long love reunite with a wonderfully fulfilling chapter that tied a bow on everything and warmed my heart. It didn't. The hero didn't even get to react to the fact that the single moment that had defined his life for the last 10 years was not his fault. We didn't get the satisfaction of seeing him love the heroine without reserve. All we got was his last ditch effort to get her back into his life and her agreeing to marry him after 5 minutes of crying. I'm done with this author even though I had such high hopes.

Now a Major Motion Picture a romantic comedy Unlucky in Love Book 3 edition by Stacey Wiedower Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

I thought the story went on too long...the premise was interesting...but I found it a little hard to believe that the "love" would withstand that number of years...especially the 20's....lots of marriages don't last as long as these two spent thinking and missing the other one.
I wanted to love this book, but the ending was so rushed and abrupt that it went from love to like. *****Spoilers to follow***** How Amelia went from loving Colin to agreeing to marry Noah after not even seeing each other for 10 years is what turned the book from like to love. I would have liked more time for Noah and Amelia to get to know each other again and see their relationship develop as adults. She didn't want to leave Memphis for Colin, but agreed to marry Noah with no talk whatsoever about where they would live. Overall, it was a very funny read and I would recommend the book.
90% of the book is about the main characters having ho-hum relationships with OTHER people who they unceremoniously dump to be with each other. This happens despite them not having set eyes on each other in 9 yrs. While the premise is ludicrous it is also boring, just don't waste your time.
4.5 stars. Stacey Wiedower delivers...as usual. This was a sweet and engaging novel about what happens before Erin Crawford becomes blogger extraordinaire in "Thirty First Dates". It's not really about her, but more about the man she had been dating, Noah. Noah's life has fallen apart after breaking up with his longtime love, Amelia. The story is told from alternating points of view between Amelia and Noah as they navigate the dating world and career changes while trying to get over each other. The characters were all well fleshed out and the pacing on point.
My only complaint is that I do wish I had read this one first. It was difficult for me to distance myself from Erin's and Noah's story knowing the outcome. However, that being said, it didn't really affect the novel as it was not about Erin and her friends.
Loved it, recommending it, can't wait to read the next one!
I thoroughly enjoyed this slow-burning light romance by Stacey Wiedower. I found the plot completely engaging - I love reading about writers, especially really humble ones who make it big! I found myself on the edge of my seat throughout most of the book because while you think you know what's going to eventually happen, and you want it to happen, the author wrote the story in such a way that you were never really certain. There were a lot of directions the author could have taken and all would have been plausible. I especially appreciated that all of the love interests were good catches rather than there being one "right" guy/girl and one "wrong" one. Finally, I'm glad I read this book before the author's other book (30 First Dates) since a supporting character in this book takes center-stage in that one. I hope other characters will make cameos as well...

As an aside, I wish I could meet men like both of the male love interests in this novel - intelligent, funny, sweet, patient, genuine. Wow.

Looking forward to reading more from this budding author!
Stacey Wiedower is a terrific writer who is becoming better with each book. I was thoroughly entertained and captivated by the characters in this book.. They are multi-layered and as each book progresses, they grow into the people you have fallen in love with & are cheering for. I felt as if this heroine were me, and the way I would feel if I were the author of her novel series as far as worrying about how her ex, Noah, was going to react when he realized the book was actually about their love story, Spoiler alert, STOP NOW!
But, I couldn't imagine how Stacey would get these two back together, and they obviously had a love as strong as Romeo/Juliet without our hating them for hurting the other two players, but she managed it with grace and believability!
I also loved reading about the glamourous aspects of the movie business and was educated too, as to how an interior designer office would work.
I will read all of her books from now on, and say kudos to this up and coming writer for her wonderful storyline and interesting characters.
